Service animals
None of the six hotels publishes a service-animal rule, and the pet bans on their websites state no exception. Contact the hotel before booking if you travel with a service animal. Careem’s community guidelines, which cover Egypt, require drivers to carry passengers with a service animal where the law requires it.
Pets in ride-hailing and taxis
Uber’s Cairo Airport page recommends choosing the Uber Pet option for a pet where the app offers it; on other ride types the driver decides whether the pet may ride. Uber pickups are curbside outside Gate 7 at Terminal 2 and at parking space B6 at Terminal 3. Careem publishes no pet rule for Egypt; its guidelines state that a driver who knowingly refuses a passenger with a service animal loses access to the platform unless the law permits the refusal. The airport’s transport page states that white taxis have meters and that airport limousines charge fixed prices by destination and car category, in four categories including category B minibuses for up to seven passengers; it states no rule for pets. Fares, pickup points and hotel shuttles are in the transfer guide.
Arriving with a pet
This page does not cover Egypt’s import rules for pets or rules for animals inside the terminals; check both with your airline before travel. Cots, children’s rates and family rooms at the same hotels are listed in family-friendly hotels at Cairo Airport.
